WikiCibo is an editorial project devoted to Italian food culture. To build and maintain an encyclopedia of this scale, we also make use of artificial intelligence tools — always as a support to human work and never as a replacement for editorial judgement.
Where we use AI
Content and text
Some texts are drafted or structured with the help of artificial intelligence tools. Every piece of content is then reviewed, fact-checked and edited before publication.
Images
The images on WikiCibo come from different sources — photographs taken by us, images licensed from libraries such as Pexels and others, and in some cases images generated with artificial intelligence. AI-generated images are marked with a dedicated label ("Image created with AI").
Translations
The versions of WikiCibo in other languages are produced using AI-assisted machine translation and reviewed before publication.
Editorial responsibility
For us, artificial intelligence is a tool, not an author. The content published on WikiCibo is subject to human editorial review and oversight, and editorial responsibility for what is published lies with HUMANTE s.r.l.s.
